Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
We had an insightful conversation for our Zoom Coffee Hour following our Sunday Service on December 27, 2020. We discussed Father Eric’s sermon about how Jesus is inviting us to soar like Eagles.
I posed the question to the group, “What is it like to be children of God?”, which we discussed. I’ve also included a poem, “Praise for the New Year for you to reflect on.
I wanted to wish you and yours many blessings at the start of a New Year filled with all sorts of possibilities!
Peace and love,
Deacon Lauren

Praise for the New Year by Shelia Forsyth
Welcome in the New Year
As you would a friend:
One who brings twelve shinning gifts
To last until year’s end.
Harmony with others,
Faith in each new day;
All the kindness you can spare,
Goodwill in words you say.
Compassion for earth’s creatures,
And hope for those in need;
Make peace with all nature,
Make tolerance your creed.
Thoughtfulness and sharing,
Love spread far and near;
A thankfulness for living
To end a perfect year.
