Our own Philip Keil offers a calming Lenten reflection on the organ with Seth Bingham’s setting of the beloved Christian hymn, Rock of Ages. The hymn was written by The Rev. Augustus Toplady in 1763. An Anglican priest and rival of John Calvin, Toplady wrote the hymn after experiencing a violent storm and sheltering within a rock formation in the gorge of Burringron Combe in the Mendip Hills, England. Think about all those rocks in our life today? Enjoy!
