League for Service
Opportunities to Give back
The League for Service provides opportunities for the women of the parish to deepen friendships, support each other and work for the benefit of the community. The League itself and its active section, St. Catherine’s, hold regular meetings to organize fundraising projects, plan social events, reach out to parishioners who may need assistance and share fellowship together. The League for Service is the St. Matthew’s branch of Episcopal Church Women and all female parishioners are considered to be members. St. Catherines’s Section
Members of this section of the League organize to serve our church through worship, study, service, gifts and fellowship. Usually meeting monthly in the evening, the group has recently coordinated clothing drives for kids and families, organized bake sales to fundraise for local charities, presented a guest speaker to the parish and gathered for fellowship and fun.
